Fran Fernandez Brief History

 

Fran Fernandez, who opened Artistic Hair & Makeup Salon Boutique years ago, has been an award winning hairstylist and cosmetologist for over 30 years. Her celebrity clientele includes:

  • Gossip Girls, Dreama Walker (Hazel) 
  • At the 2004 Latin Music Awards - Oscar Alverez from the band Banda El Recodo and Catherine Siachoque
  • AnnaMarie Polo
  • Oscar de Leon
  • Pilar Montenegro, the late Nancy Culp of the Beverly Hillbillies
  • Fran Fernandez has worked on Kathy Fountain and other FOX 13 Personalities
  • Nolan Miller, the fashion designer for Dynasty
  • Showbiz Kidz Development Center
  • And a number of American Idol contestants
  • and the late governor Lawton Chiles

  • She is in demand by Tampa’s premier photographers and has worked as a consultant to many Tampa Bay department stores.
  • Fran also developed her own line of cosmetics, Francesca Cosmetics, available exclusively at Artistic Hair & Makeup Salon.
  • Fran volunteers with American Cancer Society’s “Look Good, Feel Good” program. Her work has been published in Inspire Magazine that circulates through out the United States.

 

Fran was the judge at the 2005 Pre-Teen / Teen Beauty Pageant for Tampa / St. Petersburg.

Working with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders, Fran has been a visual consultant for the Hyatt Regency Westshore and has helped them to look their BEST!

  • MARCH 2009 CULTURAL AFFAIRS MAGAZINE cover, Fran has been the preferred makeup artist for the "Ye Mystic Krewe Of Gasparilla". Such a great honor didn't come easily but based on years of experience and dedication which delivers the best results.   • OCTOBER 2008, on the 4You section of Tampa Tribune gave an interview showing her knowledge on the new trend Black Lipstick
  • MAY 2008  on the 4You section of Tampa Tribune page 15, Fran discussed the timeline for grooming the bride

GINA


Gina Loaiza, has been with Fran for over nine years.

She is Fran's part time Salon Coordinator and a licensed Esthetician.

Gina specializes in Airbrush Makeup and creates gift baskets that we sell in our retail area of the boutique

She is fluent in three different languages and has her Degree in Criminal Justice.

Gina has a family and still finds time to attend school in the evenings she is seeking to improve her professional skill and to become a Master Cosmetologist what she is very passionate about it.

 


JENNY

Jenny has been a licensed Esthetician for over five years and in the beauty industry for over eight years.

A little over a year ago she joined Fran as a Salon Coordinator.

Jenny is a certified Airbrush Makeup Artist and has improved her skills seeking to serve our customers with the quality they expect from Artistic Hair and Makeup Salon.

Jenny is very family oriented and has a great love for dogs specially Rocko, her pug!

Jenny is a great asset for our team and as a teammate has proven to be very customer oriented with a great heart for the profession she chose years ago.
